The School Concert: “Madagascar”
Desperate to get back home, the animals decide to join a circus in order to perform a show that will get them to the place they belong.
Moreover, they must also stop an insane animal-control officer from catching
them. Will they manage to pull off a great circus act and get back to London
for sure?
Join us in this wonderful adventure....

The School Concert: “Peter Pan”
Join the wonderful characters in a magical adventure
around Neverland. Let’s fly!
September was the month of
the School Concert. We enjoyed our rehearsals with the 4th grade students. At
the beginning of our rehearsals we were really excited as we read the script of
"Peter Pan" and asigned the roles. As we got familiar with the
script, we designated a space from our classes to practice for the concert,
where we acted the scenes of the play and practised the final songs "Should
I stay or should I go" by The Clash and “That power” by Will.i.am and Justin Bieber.
We enjoyed the process! We
hope that you also enjoyed watching our play!

The School Concert: “Toy Story”
After many rehearsals on September 17th, 5th A and B students presented the play "Toy Story". This project allowed students to put in practice their language skills through activities which they enjoy, such as acting and dancing. Teamwork, cooperation and commitment were crucial in order to achieve our goals.
Congratulations to the artists!

“Get involved and be part of the change!”
Year 5th A and B students made posters for you to join
the campaign and take care of our environment.
To achieve this we were working with the environment, the
different habitats and the situation of some of these, which due to their
exploitation cause more and more animals to lose their place and food, and
consequently begin to become extinct.
The students analyzed situations that affect the
environment and we discussed this. Particularly about garbage, its accumulation
and pollution and the effects that this entails.

Social Studies
The students from 5th have walked around the building to
find out the fractures of the school's microclimate. They've made notes of
their findings and suggested reasons for them.
Finally, they've discussed how site conditions such as
aspect, shelter, physical features and other factors can influence temperature,
local wind speed and direction.

The School Concert: “Sing at Brown School”
This month we have been working hard preparing our concert!
When the students come back from their Winter break, they
find out that the concert they have been waiting for so long to prepare won’t
happen since the school doesn’t have enough funds to do it. The students get
together to organize a concert themselves and find out it is not as easy as
they thought it would be.
